My journey started with this weird little quiz...

Yeah, I guess you could say that...lol!

So before we get into this let me start out by saying I was never known to be a skinny girl, or anything remotely close to that for that matter.

Let’s put it this way, I was never "that girl" in high school that the other girls looked at in envy.

You know the ones I’m talking about, they eat whatever they want, and yet never put on more than 2-5lbs if any at all!

Even more annoying, is when you hear them say “OMG I can’t believe how much weight I’ve put on this summer!”

When I'd hear this my inside voice is screaming, "COME ON, REALLY"!

Here I am basically eating like a bird and stressing out about calories and carbs. You know what I mean… Not eating all the good stuff we actually enjoy eating. Why? Because it tastes good…

No instead, I’m eating salads and all of the other boring things we should do for a healthier diet.

And then theres exercise....

You know the saying, get the heart rate up and the pounds will shed right off you like the hair off a German shepherd in the winter time.

I've never considered myself to be lazy. In fact I tried, and tried again. Walking, Jogging, Gym memberships, Keto, protein bars, you name it…

Heck, I even tried crossfit! Which in all honesty, was actually fun at times, but was very tiring and to be honest, quite expensive.


I also must admit that no matter how hard or how many times I went to workout I can honestly say, "I do not like exercising!"

YET...I NEVER gave up..

No matter what I did or how hard I tried though, every time I stepped on the scale the numbers never changed. In fact, at times they were actually going up.

I was starting to accept the fact that I was going to be overweight for the rest of my life...😢

I’ve never felt so helpless in my entire life.

I started to blame those around me and, I became angry with all the doctors and their so called "diets" and exercise plans that just didn't work for me.

Which brings me to “how my journey started with this weird little quiz”
